Empty nests come in all shapes and sizes. There are no rules or formulas. Sometimes they become empty in stages, sometimes all at once, sometimes sooner, sometimes later, and sometimes they fill up again. As empty nesters, we bring to the table experience, wisdom, and even grit, yet we may feel vulnerable as we experience new and different roles. We’re not twenty-something anymore, but we still have a lot of life left to live! This is our empty nest and all the stories of life lived during this phase. Grab a cup of tea, settle in, and browse my site to find categories that include hobbies, grand kids, travel, health and beauty, and more. Some of the categories have no entries yet but will soon, so stay tuned! Bear with me as my initiation into empty nest living was a bit tough, but my entries should lighten up as I grow more comfortable in my new skin. I hope you will find my writing to be raw and enlightening, but most of all honest. Enjoy this trip through Chapter Three, with Chapter One (childhood and young adulthood) and Chapter Two (marriage and child rearing) behind us or soon-to-be-behind us.
Thanks for visiting!

Sounds like a VERY INTERESTING start to “LIVING CHAPTER THREE”. I want to see what others
have to say before I contribute my “not so happy” remembrance of my very first encounter with
being an “empty-nester”! . . .Stay tuned.
Would love to hear it!
